Here it is!
After several weeks of effort, this 3800 super luxury white model is finally up and running.
As planned, it is now for sale.
Here is a brief summary of what has been done on this machine, as well as a photo slideshow.
Model: 3800
History: This 3800 is a super luxury red, beautiful white paint, stainless steel mudguards and white-wall tires, chrome exhaust.
Options: Do we need any more? Well, yes, an additional bumper :)
What has been done on this 3800:
The entire machine has been restored in every detail.
Chassis
The paintwork has been entirely redone by powder coating, as it was originally, after being stripped and sandblasted, piece by piece.
The chrome parts are new or re-chromed,
all the screws have been re-zinc-plated to new,
The spokes and tires are new,
The plastic parts are new,
the fuel tank and magnetic flywheel cover are new,
The stickers have been replaced identically,
The accessories (tools, pump, bell) are present and functional,
The front brake pads and rear brake linings are also new,
finally, the sheaths and cables have been replaced with new ones.
Engine side
The engine has been treated according to preparation 2:
Disassembly, cleaning and micro-blasting of all engine parts,
Replacement of bearings (engine and clutch), seals and the engine side oil seal,
Replacement of all screws with original, newly zinc-plated screws,
Installation of new 39.5 cylinder/piston with 3 transfers, the cylinder has been painted with high-temperature glossy black paint to preserve the original look of the engine,
Clutch overhaul,
Fuel pump overhaul,
Cleaning of fuel hoses,
Carburetor overhaul and cleaning,
Replacement of the fuel return hose on the tank,
Ignition overhaul and adjustment, installation of an electronic capacitor,
Replacement of the spark plug wire and spark plug,
Installation of a new air filter and re-boring of the filter chimneys to match the new cylinder,
Replacement of engine support rod silent blocks,
Replacement of the decompressor rod,
the chrome exhaust is new.
When riding, the engine preparation makes it much more responsive and torquey. It is in the break-in period, has good power and brakes excellently.
