A superb gift!
Last February, Alain contacted me for a fun project.
He wanted to reassemble a Solex 5000 by June to offer it to someone who was about to retire.
So he entrusted me with a set of 5000 parts to repaint in a snow-white livery, very "fashionable" at the moment, it seems :)
The standard treatment was applied to his 5000: stripping, sandblasting, micro-blasting, and finally epoxy paint.
Even if the deadlines were a bit long with May in between, and I apologize for that again, everything finally "fell into place", phew!!
Today, the moped is reassembled and will embark on beautiful rides with its new owner in the Orléans region!
A snow-white Solex 5000 with the most beautiful effect!!
