When Philippe A. contacted me to restore his 2200, we quickly agreed to preserve the original, beautiful condition of this moped at all costs.
Assessment
The engine was running poorly, sluggishly, and needed a complete overhaul and some improvements, as the terrain in his area of residence is quite hilly.
As for the frame, some elements were rusty, others bent, the chrome was a bit pitted, some plastics were completely worn out, and the "consumables" needed to be checked: cables, sheaths, brakes, etc.
Work performed
Even though it was only a partial restoration, everything that needed to be improved, changed, or cleaned had to be disassembled.
