While it's relatively easy to find remanufactured saddles for our mopeds, the saddle "mattresses" are not available for sale.
L’Atelier has therefore decided to offer them.
When you dismantle a saddle, you'll find two protective layers:
Against the springs, there's a first protection made of a rather hard material that protects the saddle from the said springs (on the right in the photo), then there's a second "foam" protection (on the left in the photo).
Very often, these two elements disintegrate during disassembly, and people tend to reassemble the saddle top directly onto the springs without protection.
This is a mistake because the comfort is reduced and, more importantly, the springs can deform or even pierce the saddle top.
L'Atelier therefore manufactures, individually and on demand, these two saddle protectors which will allow you to rediscover the comfort of Transat or other Prysma saddles.
We use materials that are as close as possible to what was available, but still affordable.
These two protective layers are for sale at a price of €15 + shipping.
Of course, we can also provide you with a new saddle top if you wish.
