Last February, Jean-Claude contacted the Workshop to repaint his blue 5000.
The Solex was disassembled and packed, and the package arrived at the Workshop for the usual treatment.
With rust heavily affecting certain areas, it was time to take care of this Solex 5000!
As with all frames, the treatment was comprehensive: chemical stripping to avoid damaging the thin sheets too much, sandblasting then micro-blasting for perfect paint adhesion, and, to finish, a beautiful atoll blue color.
Restored to new, the little 5000 returned to its owner, who reassembled it to be able to ride it again at the start of summer.
