When Yves P. contacted the Workshop, he wanted a white 3800 super luxe.
We had a salvage base for this model, but only the chassis.
So, Yves looked for a "match number" engine while we started restoring the chassis.
You know the drill by now: stripping, sandblasting, and painting the chassis, zinc plating all the screws, and, an important point for a white 3800 luxe, replacing all the chrome elements with new ones, as well as perfect polishing of the ions "to see yourself in them".
Then, we had to gather the characteristic elements of the 3800 super luxe that were too worn to be reused: white sidewall tires, chrome exhaust pipe, chrome lifting lever.
Once all the parts were assembled, the chassis was reassembled, adjusted, and tested, as usual, on a 5 km circuit.

The engine also arrived, and it had to be rebuilt from scratch with a "preparation 3" for a bit more power and torque.
And finally, the engine was grafted onto the chassis and the various accessories were fine-tuned. Here's the finished work, before the traditional stickers are applied!
