Peugeot Land et SP Episode #2

Work continues on the 103s...

Retrieval of stripped cycle parts: this is an important step before we begin sandblasting.

The treated parts are ready for gentle sandblasting, which protects the surface and allows for good paint adhesion.

A batch of well-aligned beam frames:

the rest follow suit, each in its own box so as not to mix everything up!!

The zinc plating is also finished, it shines like new!

You'll notice that we're also redoing the clutch parts. This allows us to reuse the old elements, which in my opinion are much sturdier than current remanufactured parts.

Packages of new parts (saddles, rubber, chains, etc.) are awaiting, as well as chrome...

Meanwhile, the tanks are being treated for rust, as it would be a shame to have a brand new 103 with a rotten tank interior!

Next, sandblasting and micro-blasting!

See you soon!
