L'Atelier de la Vigne sells a very nice little tool for DIY enthusiasts with Solex-type engines.
If you "mechanic" these engines, you know that an "air leak" is the most common cause of poor engine performance.
The problem is that an air leak can have multiple causes: gaskets, oil seals, fuel pump, crankcase, decompression valve, and so on...
The tool offered by l'Atelier is simple: it allows you to "pressurize" the engine and see IF and WHERE the air leak(s) are located.
An essential tool to know if you have done a good job and if your engine will roar with all its horsepower 🙂
