Anyone who has disassembled a moped engine has surely found gasket "remains" between the engine and the ignition plate, and this sometimes regardless of the engine type.
This gasket, often completely destroyed, is never present in the "engine gasket" kits that can be found... it's never even present at all, as it's not even sold individually.
Yet this gasket plays a key role as it acts as a "thermal bridge" between the engine and its heat and the ignition plate, whose components do not tolerate excessively high temperatures well in the long run.
This insulating role preserves the coils and their varnish in the long term, as well as the capacitors and other electrical wires...
Since the Workshop never reassembled an engine without replacing this gasket, it was only natural for us to add it to our list of products in our Shop.
So, don't hesitate: IGNITION PLATE GASKET
Cheaper than a new coil 😉
