Zinc plating

Electrolytic zinc plating is a surface treatment that applies a protective layer to your steel parts to protect them permanently from corrosion, as originally.

The cost of sending and returning parts is your responsibility. You can drop off and pick up at our workshop by appointment.

White or yellow chromate zinc plating only; pricing is based on weight.

PLEASE NOTE:

To prepare your parts for shipment, you must first:

1)    ensure the parts are clean,

2)    ensure they have no traces of paint (zinc will not adhere to paint),

3)    ensure they are steel only: no stainless steel, aluminum, or other materials (use a magnet if you are unsure!),

4)    ensure they are completely disassembled,

5)    remove as much rust as possible for optimal results.

Any intervention on our part (cleaning, disassembly, micro-blasting, sorting, etc.) will be charged additionally.
