Workshop tip: It's said to be quite easy to renovate a fuel pump, but you need a few tools if you want to do a good job.

You need to retrieve the balls, remove the seats, open the front cover, put everything in an ultrasonic cleaner, bead blast it, and then renovate the entire assembly.
