These bottom bracket washers are plastic on Peugeot models.
Naturally, over time, they wear out, and the crankset develops play, the pulley no longer runs smoothly, etc.
This also causes unpleasant vibrations while riding.
For the price, it's not worth not changing them.
Please note when purchasing: there are 2 diameters: 16 X 32 and 16 X 28!
