The connection between the exhaust pipe and the muffler of a moped is often not very tight. Over time, the joints wear out, and sometimes there's a significant amount of play... and projections that are as unpleasant as they are messy.
It's impossible to "fix" these two components because the pipe needs to rotate within the muffler to allow for engine lifting, for example.
The solution is the PERF sleeve. Made from fire-retardant material and held by two stainless steel clamps, this sleeve covers the pipe/muffler joint and eliminates all the aforementioned inconveniences.
Cuttable and adjustable, it can be fitted to all pipes and mufflers and on all types of mopeds.
