The ER1 cylinder has a 5-port scavenging system with aluminum exhaust booster ports. Made of aluminum for better heat dispersion, it features a Nikasil coating, resulting in a low-friction and highly resistant surface. The elliptically shaped piston consists of a single (thin 1 mm) hard chrome-plated steel ring. DOPPLER recommends pairing its cylinder with the DOPPLER cylinder head.
