Workshop tip: Clean the fuel filters regularly. The carburetor filter and the tank filter. Your fuel supply will be cleaner and your engine will have fewer jerks. To do this, use a brake cleaner spray and a blowgun.

To remove the tank filter, after unscrewing your hose, take a small wood screw. Screw it into the fuel outlet hole a few turns then pull; the filter will come out at the end of the screw.
