The ER1 cylinder features a 5-port scavenging system with booster exhaust ports, made of aluminum. The aluminum construction ensures better heat dissipation and it has a Nikasil coating. This provides a friction surface with a low coefficient and very high resistance. The elliptically shaped piston has a single segment (thin 1 mm) made of hard chrome-plated steel.
DOPPLER recommends pairing its cylinder with the DOPPLER cylinder head.
