"Rustic" spark plug for "original" moped

Indeed, the use of modern spark plugs very often seems to be the cause of breakdowns in our engines: misfires, sputtering, quickly fouled plugs, etc., etc....

In fact, the ignition system of our beloved machines is very rudimentary and modern spark plugs are more designed for powerful, regular electronic ignitions and often for fuel injection systems... in short, the opposite of our old mechanics.

As a result, at the Workshop, after many setbacks, we turned to a less well-known brand whose results are very satisfactory: BERU.

However, BERU plugs are sometimes difficult to source. We therefore also tested other brands of the same type for several months, and BOSCH gave us very satisfactory results.

All our engines are fitted with these spark plugs and give full satisfaction: no misfires, good resistance, no "fouling", regular ignition, etc....

Don't forget that an ignition also includes a capacitor, coils, breaker points, and spark plug wire in good condition!

The "Workshop Tip": Put a little bit of Putoline high-temperature Ceramic Grease on the base of your spark plugs. This prevents the spark plugs from "seizing" and thus protects old spark plug well threads.
