This connecting rod was designed and manufactured in France.
It is made by numerical control from quality aluminum type 7075, "fortal".
This aluminum has the rigidity of steel while remaining light. (In comparison, the original connecting rod is made of very fragile cast aluminum.)
It is also anodized to prevent oxidation.
This RACE connecting rod is perfectly suited for original engines, as well as for high-compression and high-RPM engines such as "modified" or racing engines.

Fits all engine models from 2200 without modification.

Also fits all models from 45, replacing the connecting rod with bronze bearings. In this case, the crankpin bushing and the crankcase cover must also be changed.
