Why this reinforcement? :
Before we dive into the details, why would you want to add a magneto flywheel reinforcement to your engine? The answer is simple yet multifaceted.
1) Magneto flywheels age like the rest of the engine and can therefore become brittle over time,
2) you want or have "boosted" your engine, and now the rotor spins faster. It wasn't designed for this, and it's advisable to reinforce it before it breaks.
3) magneto flywheels are becoming rare at a reasonable price AND in good condition, all the more reason not to "wreck" yours!
