That's why we do powder coating for Peugeot or Motobécane!
Like other treatments, the process begins with chemical stripping of all parts. This stripping delicately removes all paint without being too aggressive; overly "aggressive" sandblasting can warp the thin sheets of our mopeds!
After stripping, we get this:
Then we move on to sandblasting to remove the last traces of paint and, most importantly, rust! Sandblasting is followed by glass bead blasting, which gives the metal a satin appearance while allowing for excellent paint adhesion.
Then, cleaning before painting and applying the powder coating, we get, for example, this for a 103 land:

The price is in a range of 250 to 350 € depending on what needs to be done…..much more competitive than “automotive” type paint and significantly more resistant.
