A short but effective day today.

I finally received the parts needed to finish the various Solex frames in progress.

So, I was able to finish the various 3800 frames.

For "quality control", I cycled 4 kilometers with each frame, which allows me to see if the bicycle part of the Solex works correctly... and it does.

Who said restoration wasn't also a sport? :)

Here are a few photos to whet your appetite...

First, a brief presentation of the white super luxe

It will be equipped with a 41 engine, improved manifold... a beautiful Solex with good performance!

Then I took care of the first red luxe:

A beautiful Solex, "sporty" red color, it will also be equipped with a 41 engine with some "homemade" improvements.

Next, finalization of the "classic" black 3800, without a twist-grip throttle, with gold pinstripes

Classic, even classy, the engine will be a 39.5, just to have torque without constantly being "on the brakes". A good compromise for a Solex without a throttle grip.

To finish with the second red luxe...

Like the first red one, it will be equipped with the same type of engine... besides, it's well known that red goes faster than any other color :)

In any case, the frame series is finished... WHEW!

I now have to reassemble a 5000 from A to Z before tackling the engines that will equip these 4 machines.

See you soon!
