You've probably noticed, but Atelier now ships with Mondial Relay.
Of course, we're continuing with La Poste, our "historic" partner, but we've added this new option for several reasons.
The first is that many customers had asked us for this choice.
It's true that when you work all day and you're not home when the postman comes, it's very convenient to pick up your package at your favorite store, wherever and whenever you want.
The second reason is the price... in this period of inflation, it's always nice to have the lowest possible shipping costs.
That's why Atelier offers you, depending on the weight of your items and their "size," different delivery method choices: tracked letter for small items, Colissimo or Mondial Relay for the rest.
But price isn't everything, and the main reason we decided to offer Mondial Relay is actually "solidarity."
Indeed, a small grocery store had set up in the village next to the Atelier a few months ago, and you all know how difficult it is for this type of business to make a decent living.
When Le Comptoir de Rochetorin (that's its name) developed a parcel relay point, in addition to the grocery store, bar, lottery, etc., Atelier decided to contribute by using them for sending our parcels.
So, now you know why we offer this choice, and every time you opt for this "carrier," you're also helping to support a small business in a rural area :)
For us at Atelier, restoring old mopeds is more than just "business"; it's primarily a "lifestyle": closer, more human, more welcoming.
